Students, alumni brought together in memorium to "Just Sing"

Last night on campus many students and alumni attended “Just Sing: The 3rd Annual Pete Teleha Memorial Concert,” an event co-sponsored by Phi Delta Theta and Honors College.

All performing groups and Phi Delta Theta.

Pete Teleha was a Hofstra student who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident during the summer of 2012. He was a brother of Phi Delta Theta, an Honors College student, and heavily involved with many a’cappella groups on campus. His presence left a lasting impression on many of his peers and teachers, and this concert was truly a beautiful memorial in his honor.

The turn out was great. All funds raised are donated to an endowment fund for the Honors College that puts on educational seminars and programming for the entire university. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when all five performing a’cappella groups stood together and sang, “Lean on Me.”

Check out some photos from the event!
