“Through my work with The Pride Network, I am able to help foster a loving and supporting community for beautiful LGBTQ+ students and help educate and advocate for acceptance and equality. Additionally, I am a member of transcenDANCE. Being a part of this team allows me to express a performance aspect of my life.

I also work as a second-year Resident Assistant in Vander Poel Hall, where I support a wonderful community of people from all walks of life. My second job is at the Office of International Student Affairs as a student aide, where I meet a plethora of students from all around the world and learn about different cultures.

Over my first two summers at Hofstra, I served as an orientation leader to help welcome the incoming classes of 2020 and 2021. Being able to share what Hofstra has done for me in this context really validated that I ended up exactly where I need to be. The most beautiful thing about it all is that when I came here, I was looking for a community. Then I realized I was helping to create one."
