Throughout the semester, Hofstra students actively strive to make our community and world a better place. Since we have such a diverse student body with different interests and passions, we are able to help with a variety of causes.
Last week, the Hofstra roller hockey team put on St. Baldricks Day. St. Baldricks is a volunteer organization that helps children fight cancer. During an event, volunteers shave their heads to stand in solidarity with cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Great job to the Hofstra roller hockey team for putting on the event and to all the Hofstra students that shaved their heads. We are so proud of Hofstra and its dedication to community service.
